I haven't posted anything in a while because I'm a little overwhelmed. The holidays are upon us now and moving the Los Angeles is imminent. Right now it looks like i'll be in LA by the end of January. I'm excited about moving, while at the same time terrified.
I've had a really good year all told. Work has been less than pleasant, but my friends have been amazing. I'm going to call this year a success.
I am going to the Keys right after new years for a week long unwind with my friend April. I am so excited. I've never been, and Boy and I are making this a nice little vacation. it's been 3 years, and i am so happy. He has been my rock this year. I don't know what i would have done with out boy.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
If you could easily choose to live in another country without all the red tape and legal stuff, which one would you select and why?

Which breed of dog is your favorite? Post a picture of it.
Submitted by Melissa.well, my parents breed and show Airedales, so I've had Airedales all my life, so i have to say Airedales.
the only picture i can find off hand is this one that was meant to be of my mother's then new couch, but Simone walked in and decided to look insolently at the camera. she knew she was being in the picture and did it on purpose, i wasn't giving her my full attention. also same dog in a dog show looking more proper airdale
he got me a tomtom. i was worried about getting lost when we move to la, so now i have agps. it's talks and it touch screen. it's very fun.
so, now that i have accepted, i am waiting for the relocation specialist to call me and start that process.
he mere mention of the word "Bejeweled" sends hundreds of hunched, bleary-eyed office workers running. If you are one of the sleep deprived masses that have been hooked before, stop reading because the folks at Avocadolite Farm have smothered the Bejeweled formula in oh-so cuteness in their most successful time killer, Farm Hustle.

inhaled brain matter is not a combination of words i expected to read, EVER.ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — On the slaughterhouse floor at Quality Pork Processors Inc. is an area known as the "head table," but not because it is the place of honor. It is where workers cut up pigs' heads and then shoot compressed air into the skulls until the brains come spilling out.
But now the grisly practice has come under suspicion from health authorities.
Over eight months from last December through July, 11 workers at the plant in Austin, Minn. — all of them employed at the head table — developed numbness, tingling or other neurological symptoms, and some scientists suspect inhaled airborne brain matter may have somehow triggered the illnesses.
What work of art (film, book, record, whatever) changed your life?

well it didn't actually change my life, but it did upset my stomach and make my eyes ugly and i did make a life changing decision today.
both the book and the movie are equally as horribly...sad. i read the book years ago when i still worked in ticket centers and had to man the front desk until 9pm. someone had left the book on the desk and it was a slow Saturday. it's a small book, and i read quickly. i read the whole book during my shift. i forgot to take a lunch. i'm warning you, don't even start reading/watching unless you have a full box of tissues, or maybe skip the tissues and go straight for a towel. this story is sappy and simple, but moving and will make you cry.
ugh, now my stomach hurts.
